Some of my earliest memories are of the Sahara. Watching the sun rise over endless golden dunes, listening to stories shared around the campfire beneath a sky full of stars, and welcoming travelers who had journeyed from every corner of the world to experience the magic of Morocco. Those moments shaped who I am and inspired a lifelong passion for sharing my homeland.

My name is Jamal, founder of Desert Explored. Tourism isn’t simply my profession — it’s part of my family’s way of life. For generations, we have welcomed guests with genuine Moroccan hospitality, believing that every visitor should feel less like a tourist and more like a friend. Growing up surrounded by this tradition taught me that the most memorable journeys are created through kindness, local knowledge, and authentic human connections.

As I explored more of Morocco, I realized that its beauty extends far beyond the desert. From the snow-capped Atlas Mountains and the blue streets of Chefchaouen to the ancient medinas of Fes, the Atlantic coastline, and the vibrant souks of Marrakech, every region has its own story waiting to be discovered. That passion led me to create Desert Explored — a company dedicated to offering carefully crafted private journeys that reveal the real Morocco.

Every itinerary is personally designed with attention to detail, balancing iconic destinations with hidden gems known mostly to locals.
